In addition, we are a pre-designated Emergency assembly area for FPL, the state of Florida and Collier County.
We invite you to share in our community spirit and help support our community and youth of Collier County, and if we can help your program, please contact us.
The Collier Fairgrounds is NOT a part of Collier County or State of Florida government and thus receives no tax dollars or other subsidies. We are a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching our community by promoting education and Southwest Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this by producing a first-class eleven day Fair each Spring with quality family entertainment and providing facilities and resources for year-round events. Over the years we have given back to a long list of other not-for-profits and charities throughout our community.
Your money stays here, and we thank you all for supporting us.
Welcome to the Collier Fair!
Each year, more than 4 million people attend one of the numerous fairs around our state. As Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture, I am enthusiastic about the positive impact fairs and livestock shows have on our youth and the agricultural industry.
Events like this one are an excellent platform for featuring our hardworking Florida farmer and showcasing the finest “Fresh From Florida” products as well as the industry’s latest technological advancements and innovations.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services created and maintains the “Fresh from Florida” program, which assists small and large producers alike by promoting the wide variety of high-quality products that are grown and harvested in Florida. I hope we can also count on your support of this program – just look for items with the sunny “Fresh from Florida” logo. Together, we can help our state’s agricultural industry thrive.
While you are visiting the fair today, I hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding food, entertainment, contests and youth exhibits. Most importantly, I hope your day at the fair will allow you to experience Florida’s agricultural roots and its impact on our great state. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
COMMISSIONER WILTON SIMPSON
