The Making Life “Fair” Silent Auction fundraiser was created to raise funds for a board member with stage 4 melanoma. Since that time it has branched out to include three other board members families with cancer related illnesses, a family battling Huntington’s disease, an injured board member, funeral expenses for families around the county, a 4-H family battling cancer, local community needs in many forms, a carnival vendor with Alzheimer’s, providing groceries to families in the community and so much more. We continue to pay tribute to the original cause, but hope to see this flourish into a community outreach program that stretches too many different realms. When a family in our community or surrounding areas is in need we hope to be able to meet those needs through the Life’s Not Fair Silent Auction fundraiser.

The majority of our efforts will focus on raising money through these silent auctions. With the support and generosity of our community, we hope to achieve our goal of $10,000.00 for the Making Life “Fair” Fund.

Starting at 4:00pm the silent auction will begin the biding and will continue until 7:00pm.  We will be hosting the silent auction at the Collier Fair in the Beer Barn Stage. The Collier County fair had over 90,000 guests attended last year’s event.
